Deny All Cookies
Obviously, we value your privacy.
Do you?
Deny All Cookies is a one-click solution that reduces all cookies to crumbs.
How it works
Simple. You create a bookmark, then when cookie consent banners pop up, you click the bookmark. All cookies will then be absolutely annihilated.
It's like a nuclear bomb for cookies.
- Emmett (a happy customer)
Why it's important
There are so many different cookie compliance providers, each attempting different ways to help you deny cookies easily. It's usually never easy.
We have created an unbelievably simple “one-stop-shop” for finding and clicking on the “Deny All” button.
This is way more useful than I thought it would be.
- Sarah (another happy customer)
Why you need it
It is MEGA frustrating to have to go hunting down the deny all button on every website you visit. It's almost like they don't want you to find it. (They don't!)
This robs you of your privacy and harvests your browsing activity so companies can sell you shit you don't need, or want.
I love it. Simple. Clever.
- Emily (yet another happy customer)
The problem (in detail)
-
Various positions
Websites place their cookie banners in different places on the screen
Sometimes top, sometimes bottom, sometimes left, sometimes right, sometimes center
This leaves you frustrated hunting it each time.
-
Inconsistent names for rejecting
Every cookie banner has a different way to click the "Disagree" button
"Disagree", "Reject all", "Deny all", "I do not consent"
This will always end in rage. Why should you have to chase down the deny button as if privacy isn't a basic human right?
-
Inconsistent names for preferences
Some banners do not have an obvious "reject" button and you need to click a "preferences" button
"preferences", "settings", "manage cookies", "more options"
And when you click to manage your preferences, every cookie banner has a differnt screen for your options.
With all these variations, it's no wonder many people just click the "Accept all" button, even though that's not what they actually want.
Wouldn't it be great if - no matter what website you are looking at - you could click the same button all the time.
It's like a magic wand for cookies.
- John (honestly, I just made this one up myself!)
Free version
Try the free version of the bookmarklet to see if it works for you first. It has the exact same features as the paid-for version except it intermittently shows an ad asking you if you'd like to upgrade to the paid version.
This way you can give DAC a go without being afraid that it's a waste of money. (SPOILER: it isn't).
To try the free version, simply drag this DAC | FREE link to your bookmarks toolbar.
FAQs
How do I install the bookmarklet?
When you purchase the Deny All Cookies bookmarket, you will receive you an email with a link in it. You then simply create a bookmark in your browser and put the contents of that link as the URL for your bookmark. Then any time there is a cookie popup, you can click that bookmarklet and it will do it's best to find a way to "Deny All Cookies".
How many browsers can I use it on?
As many as your cookie-hating heart desires - Firefox, Chrome, Safari, you name it! You can also use it on as many computers you personally use - your home laptop, your work desktop, etc.
Does Deny All Cookies work for every cookie consent banner?
It works for most cookie consent banners.
If you find one that it doesn't work for, please let me know by email to info@the-confident.com and I'll do my best to make it work.
Does Deny All Cookies work on every website?
It works on "lots" of websites, but some websites have a policy set that will not allow injecting the temporary script to click the "Deny all" button. We estimate it works on about 80% of websites.
If you find one that it doesn't work for, please let me know by email to info@the-confident.com and I'll do my best to make it work.
Do you offer refunds?
Nope! Instead I offer a FREE version of the bookmarklet with the exact same features as the paid-for version that you are welcome to use for as long as you wish, or until you want to upgrade to the paid version! The only price to pay is an intermittently shown advertisement asking if you'd like to upgrade to the paid-for version.
Do you track where I use it?
No. There is no tracking whatsoever on the bookmarklet.
How does it work?
It's quite simple. When you click on the bookmarklet, it creates a small script to add to the page you are looking at. Then it does a search for common cookie banner patterns. If one matches, it finds the "Deny All" button and clicks it for you. It then deletes the script. The whole thing takes about 0.2 of a second to complete.
I already have a browser extension that stops cookie banners from showing up at all, why would I need this?
While those browser extensions do stop cookie banners from showing up, they can also stop other scripts that are necessary to keep the website running, so you can end up unable to even use the website . (Guess what: DAC doesn't do that!)
Also, even though you got the extension to annihilate every last cookie, there will come a time when you may want to leave a cookie or two, which those other browser extensions don't let you do.
